Lamp Lueur materials: fired clay, electrical components
A series of ambient, ceramic lamps decorated with a poetic relief. The objects were inspired by the effect of light filtering through tree canopies (komorebi). Each lamp is hand-sculpted using various types of clay and then fired. Some of them are finished with glaze, while others are left in their raw, natural form. The reliefs were created by embossing a matrix that has been hand-carved with chisels. “Lueur” is a tribute to nature — a fusion of the brutalist simplicity of sculpted, fired clay with a romantic relief. Every stage of the lamp’s creation is the result of meticulous, handcrafted work. Created in collaboration with a ceramic artist Kamila Loba
